What to check first.
Beta 0.8 improved load times, but real-world speed depends on your WiFi or cellular connection. Try a different network, disable browser extensions, and check for ongoing incidents in the announcements feed.
Diagnose your network
Run a quick speed test (fast.com works on any device). If you're under 5 Mbps, that's likely the bottleneck. Switch from cellular to WiFi (or vice versa) and reload.

Open the same page in a private window. If it's faster there, an extension is the culprit. Disable extensions one at a time to find which one. Most common offenders: ad blockers with overly aggressive rules, and crypto wallets that inject scripts.
